The Chillon Project is an initiative of the Center for Compassion, Integrity and Secular Ethics (CCISE) at Life University, and it provides higher education to people impacted by the prison system in Georgia. In this special episode of Today’s Conversations on Leadership, Dr. Gilles LaMarche interviews Kareemah Hanifa, the new Director of the Chillon Project. As a former graduate of the program who has seen it grow from its inception, Hanifa has a unique perspective to identify what incarcerated individuals need to better themselves while incarcerated as well as equipping them with resources to succeed outside of the system once released.
