Guy’s Thots

By Guy F. Riekeman on behalf of Life University

Putting the Why in TIC = TYC?

I saw a definition for the word ‘innovation’ recently. It read, “INNOVATION: By the time other people start doing what we’re already doing and we’ve already moved on.” And, to paraphrase something Walt Disney often said, it takes more time to steal an idea than to create a new one.

At Life U, we’re going as fast as we can to realize our vision … a world where people are maximizing the potential that resides within each of us. This is our WHY. We also have committed ourselves to using the principle of neo-Vitalism (the recognition that all life is conscious, self-developing, self-adapting and self-healing) as our HOW. And congruently, our WHAT is to correct interferences to the nervous system, allowing the organism to utilize more of its own innate potential.

This vision has driven us to create 16 undergraduate degrees, four master’s degree programs and the largest single campus chiropractic program in the world. It is driving us to open chiropractic colleges in Europe, China and Costa Rica and to work with other Rubicon Group colleges to spread Chiropractic worldwide. We are compelled to partner with Atlanta midwives to bring Chiropractic and natural birth options to families. We think we have a plan to reverse prison recidivism rates and give people their dignity back while saving taxpayers $80 billion a year, and so much more. We are “Crazies” because we believe people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.

The Dalai Lama recently sent a letter to all of his followers asking them to support the Chillon Project (see it here). Maybe you should support one of these projects, too … come join us. It doesn’t matter where you graduated from, how you practice or what your politics are … if you want to be part of these solutions, we’re here with open arms, asking for your attention and partnership.

Proud to be a ChiropracTOR and President of Life U,
Guy
