IMPACT – About this Issue. The President’s Message Fall 2015

So, how did we decide who to feature as the Mavericks, Geniuses and Icons of the chiropractic profession? I’d like to tell you it was a cage match and only the best suggestions came out alive. Or maybe a series of Thunderdome contests where “two men enter, one man leaves.” But it was much more collaborative than competitive. Don’t let that fool you, though. It was still a lot of work – it was just more like a rowing team than a boxing match.
The LIFE Thought Leadership team, the TCL Editorial Board and myself had extensive conversations about who’s with us in the TCL mission of “Leading Chiropractors to Thrive.” Who understands the potential of chiropractic as a subluxation-focused profession? Who’s really great at communicating to patients the effects of a clear nerve system? Who’s creating a research paradigm that allows us to measure the increased health and function we all see in our patients?
I’m just going to speak freely here because…well, because I can. There are a lot of people working their asses off to ensure every person on the planet has access to affordable chiropractic care so that no one has to live with easily corrected interference to the nerve system. We honor those who are doing it with the future in mind – united on the philosophical foundation of trust in the body’s innate wisdom and acting in cooperation, not competition, with its natural processes.
And, in all honesty, we couldn’t feature them all – and some simply weren’t able to respond by the deadline because their “thing” doesn’t include having a public relations team. So, most, but not all, of those invited were able to accept. And, now, I’d like to invite you to visit TCLonline.today to see who are the Mavericks, Geniuses and Icons of our profession.
Proudly a ChiropracTOR and President of Life U,
